Michael Archer born c. 1760, died c. 1786 Little is known of Michael, as he was killed by Indians before 9 September 1786. After his death, his widow Elizabeth Wells, daughter of John Duckett Wells, (sister of William Wells married to Michael's sister), Elizabeth Archer, moved with her brothers and two children, Mary and Joseph, to Tyler County, (W) Virginia, where his descendants live to the present time.
